Are you ready to craft the future of LEGO Retail? We're seeking an expert in planograms to improve our space and range planning for LEGO Retail Stores in the USA and Canada. Join us and be the foundation of our space and planograms strategy!



Core Responsibilities



  • Own the space and planograms process for LEGO Retail Stores in Americas (USA and Canada).

  • In collaboration with the Americas Range Planning Manager, you will be responsible to build and deploy planograms for all assortment modules assigned to our LEGO Retail Stores across USA and Canada.

  • In accordance with the Annual Range Change Calendar, deliver planograms for up to 10 range changes per year, ensuring stores receive accurate merchandising plans for all products and fixture types.

  • Drive SKU efficiency and availability through space optimization, leverage Blue Yonder Space Planning Tool to plan the appropriate shelf capacity (shelf fill) for all products each range cycle.

  • Coordinate with the Global Floor Planning Team each range change cycle to ensure that all updated planograms are accurately cascaded to the appropriate floor plan/s.

  • Lead the planograms life cycle and deployment process, ensuring that planograms are available to stores in Blue Yonder Web Publisher a minimum of one month prior to launch date.

  • Build and share a Range Change Directive with stores every range cycle, ensuring stores receive the relevant information to effectively implement planograms changes.

  • Collaborate closely with the Americas Visual Merchandising Manager to ensure that all visual input to planograms execution is received by the appropriate deadlines stated in the Annual Range Change Calendar.

  • Lead all planograms support for new store openings in USA and Canada (5-10 per year). This includes joining all relevant project meetings and updating all actions on the stream-plan.

  • Lead Americas input into fixture development, planograms testing, and ongoing merchandising process improvement and transformation.

The LEGO Retail Global Merchandising Team helps to deliver the LEGO Group's assortment strategy to shoppers around the globe through our LEGO Retail Stores and shop.LEGO.com. We lead the assortment planning, merchandising and launch strategy for the global LEGO Retail business.



Do you have what it takes?



  • Proven retail Planograms experience, with mandatory prior experience using Blue Yonder Space Planning or similar planograms and/or category management software.

  • Ability to analyze data, find opportunities and effectively recommend priorities based on an understanding of merchandising strategies and objectives.

  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships cross functionally.

  • Motivated to be proactive and results orientated. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong solid understanding of Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Word) and other PC planning software (SAP or other planning tools).

  • Consistently strives to deliver strong results to improve business performance and takes understanding of short-term opportunities for change into daily work.

  • Knowledge of the general market with a basic understanding of customer needs preferred.

  • Ability to provide support to colleagues and their development of critical capabilities by pointing out areas of improvement, providing feedback and advising others to the best solutions preferred.

  • Domestic and International Travel Required. 5-10 days domestic store visits per year. 3-5 days domestic/international team teamwork per year.


Relocation



  • There is no budget for domestic or international relocation for this role.


Additional details on this position



  • The salary for this position has a range of $100,000 - $151,000 USD based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.

  • This position will initially be based at 10 St. James Ave. in Boston, before moving to a new office location at 1001 Boylston St by mid-2025. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.
