We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician II to support our industry leading products here at Tosoh Quartz, Inc.

As the Engineering Technician II, you will work with Engineering and machine operators to develop the world's best quartz machining processes. From implementation of new products to the refinement of existing products, you are key to ensuring people, processes, and materials can deliver the highest possible quality and output.

What you'll do at Tosoh Quartz.

• Review processes and develop training and point of use documentation, assist in the training of production team members to ensure documents are effective and accessible.
• Troubleshoot process quality, safety and output issues and develop operator focused solutions.
• Work with engineers to eliminate quality and production problems.
• Design and build production tools and equipment.
• Identify waste in processes and work relentlessly to eliminate it.
• Facilitate the disposition of non-conforming material.
• Provide support for process and systems improvement projects.
• Interact with outside vendors and Tosoh resources in other departments to meet project and process deliverables.
• Partner with production team members to promote continuous improvement and learning mindset.

Who you are.

Minimum requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensions.
• Experience in a CNC machining environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

• 3D CAD software and/or SolidWorks experience.
• Technical associate degree.
