SUMMARY



This position is responsible for supporting Cobb lab operations on-site in Siloam Springs, AR. Daily tasks will include sample preparation for processing, preparation of culture media and testing supplies, data entry into a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other duties as assigned. Year-round.



REQUIREMENTS



Education:


Current Undergraduate or Graduate student in good standing with at least one year of school remaining required. Biological or Animal Science majors preferred.


Location:


This internship is a year-round paid role at our Cobb World Headquarters in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Candidates are expected to work, in person, part-time (about 20 hours/week) during the school year and full-time (about 40 hours/week) during the summer.


Experience:


Previous work experience in any field.


Computer Skills:


Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of MS Office, familiarity with Excel, Word and Outlook strongly preferred.


Special Skills:


Ability to multitask; motivated self-starter.
