This is a part-time, benefit eligible position (20 hours per week). Occupational Category: Service Maintenance Department: IMC Creative Design & Production Division: Integrated Marketing Communications Open Date: 02/28/2025 Open Until Filled: Yes Educational and Experience Requirement: Less than a High School diploma with the ability to read and write. Minimum of six months related experience preferred. Nature & Purpose of Position: Assists the IMC - Production (Print Services) with daily operations such as deliveries, operating bindery and other print related equipment. Primary Responsibilities: To assist IMC - Production (Print Services) with delivering finished products across campus. Duties include finishing books, coiling and padding as well as using industrial size paper cutter, shrink wrap machine, creaser/folding machine and booklet maker. Works and interacts with all Print Services staff. Perform other related duties as assigned. Other Specifications: Position requires the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Exposure to outside weather conditions. Conditions vary according to type of work being performed, but are continuously exposed to one or more disagreeable elements such as dirt, dust, heat, fumes, cold, noise, wet, vibration, poor lighting, or congested work area. Assists Print Services with various projects such as deliveries or other production operations. Alert mental and visual attention is required to avoid injury to self or others.
Position may require driving and operating a university vehicle; therefore, a valid Texas driver license and driving record acceptable to the university's insurance carrier is required.
