·       Perform as an integral member of a client project team.

·       Participate directly in creating, editing web sites and web content, contributes input and creativity to enhance the quality of work products and supports the Practice’s revenue generating activities.

·       Work closely with/and in support of Senior Consultant staff to deliver communications technology services to a diverse client base.

·       Have primary responsibility for client deliverables and project management tasks as the primary or secondary client contact for communications technology.

Responsibilities:

The Consultant collaborates closely with colleagues throughout the Practice and company on delivering high quality communication technology services for our clients. This includes but may not be limited to: 

·       Serve as a lead or primary interface with clients and as a key member of Communications project teams leading website creation and editing, and in developing and producing employee benefits communications in digital media.

·       Utilize expertise with content management systems (such as Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, Umbraco, etc.) and programming experience to create innovative digital client solutions.

·       Plan, scope, budget, resource, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously that may involve extensive collaboration with colleagues in other areas or vendors.

·       Perform as a subject matter expert – with an eye to relevant marketplace trends and developments – who provides technical advice and counsel to colleagues and clients on electronic media topics. Assist in translating design and content specifications into technical requirements for website developers and serve as the liaison for internal and external groups.

·       Provide feedback on content manuscripts to create the best user experience possible.

·       Import content manuscripts and specifications into the CMS (Content Management System) in an accurate and timely fashion.

·       Proactively monitor and manage scheduled and emergency client content and functionality updates for ongoing sites.

·       Passionately advocate for accessibility, user experience design and web usability standards, and quality assurance testing for all electronic client deliverables.

·       Provide peer review of work produced by colleagues and helping to ensure the quality and consistency of all client deliverables.

·       Create and assist with analysis for monthly and quarterly website data reports with a focus on strategic growth for clients.

·       Collaborate with colleagues on revenue generating activities including selling, marketing, Request for Proposals (RFPs), and other profitability growth initiatives including intellectual capital development.

·       Minimum of 6+ years of relevant work experience that includes one or a combination of professional services organization and/or communications departments in a role focused on the design, development, and implementation of digital communications; experience in health and retirement benefits-related communication is highly desirable.

·       Expert knowledge of content management systems (Drupal, WordPress, Joomla, etc.); programming experience highly preferred.

·       Strong HTML and CSS skills and expert Microsoft Office and Google Docs user.

·       Previous experience with Google Analytics and Looker Studio.

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, web design, or other relevant academic discipline.

·       Experience using generative AI technologies a plus.

·       Initiative and drive to plan, execute and complete projects in a dynamic work environment to include supporting a culture of collaboration, passion, quality, and creativity. Creative skill with a dedication to continuous learning that includes contributing to the development of new methods, concepts, and approaches to servicing clients and attracting new business.

·       Superior writing, editing, verbal and web communication skills and experience with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple projects concurrently and to partner across cross functional teams to solve problems and achieve success. Demonstrated project management skills to include planning, budgeting, overseeing and quality assuring delivery of work. Effective interpersonal skills with ability to positively present to and influence diverse audiences.

The current salary range for this position is $101,500 to $130,000 plus opportunity for a discretionary performance bonus based on company profitability and employee performance.
