b. Small engine repair (mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, etc.)
c. Preventive maintenance, (changing light bulbs, checking tire pressure and rotations, checking fluids, oil changes, and daily truck inspections).
d. Trouble shooting small air leaks, hydraulics, breaks, and wiring.
e. Assist with inventory, place orders and verify receipt of orders.
f. Examine machinery and perform diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
g. Inspect vehicle/equipment functional condition by assisting operators.
h. Assists level one mechanic in all large mechanical projects.
Mechanic Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent qualifications.
2. Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred.
3. In-depth knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
4. Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem solving.
5. Excellent communication and service skills.
6. Class A or B CDL license.
Hours: Full Time, Hourly
Pay Range: Entry Level Bargaining Unit Agreement
