Pennoni is hiring for an EHS Training Manager to join our team on a full-time, direct basis and contribute to our Environmental, Health, & Safety operations while based at our Training Center in Mechanicsburg, PA .
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for coordinating / conducting / leading EHS training, reporting, and procedure development / deployment within Pennoni.
Act as the Manager of an established EHS Training Program.
Lead the execution of the strategic & tactical EHS training plans.
Manage, market, and grow the Pennoni training program (in-person & online).
Develop, update, coordinate, and/or conduct training programs.
Update and create EHS training programs & procedures with our trainers.
Organize, conduct, and support management in the continued delivery of an excellent training program.
Manage EHS Training KPI development as well as reporting.
Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in Industrial Hygiene, OHS, Environmental Science, EHS, Safety Management, Education, or a related field).
10+ years of professional experience working with Professional Training and/or EHS-related tasks (preferably with OHS, Industrial Hygiene, and/or Environmental Remediation).
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant certification (e.g.: ASP, CSP, CIH, and/or CIT) is preferred.
Proficiency with OSHA, EPA, Lead, Asbestos, and RCRA regulations.
Experience with Learning & Development, especially with Instructional Design; experience with designing & developing training curriculum, making presentations, classroom instruction, and/or preparing instructional materials are preferred.
Strong leadership and conflict management skills; Project Management experience is a plus!
Proficiency on standard Microsoft Office applications (e.g.: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.); experience using Learning Management System [LMS] and/or media development software (for course development).
Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in an energetic and challenging work environment on a variety of projects; this person will be expected to demonstrate a self-motivated demeanor while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
Proven ability to work independently or in a team environment while demonstrating strong character and dependability; this person will be expected to work effectively with peers, leadership, and clients!
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with the proven ability to communicate with all stakeholders (internal & external); bi-lingual proficiency with Spanish and English is a plus!
