Position Summary

This Senior level position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Epiq’s print and mail operations, including managing the day-to-day production, ensuing quality control and optimizing costs related to document production and postal services.  This role will also be responsible for production priorities; workforce and resource scheduling; process improvement and documentation; internal and external audits; quality control; inventory management; coordination with internal management, facilities and developing a strong working relationship with the USPS and overnight vendors. 

Responsibilities


  • Developing and implementing strategies for print and mail operations, including budget management, vendor selection, and technology upgrades. 

  • Overseeing the printing process, ensuring timely and accurate production of documents, and managing print quality. 

  • Coordinating mailings with postal services, managing mailing lists, and ensuring compliance with postal regulations. 

  • Monitoring and optimizing print and mail costs through vendor negotiations, volume discounts, and process improvements. 

  • Managing a team of print and mail staff, including managers, supervisors, production operators, and mailroom personnel consisting of 60+ employees and temporary staff.

  •  Ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations related to printing and mailing, including data privacy and environmental standards. 

  • Provide regular situational reporting to Client Services and Operations management and the Executive Team on status, throughput and department productivity.

  • Work with direct reports to continuously review and update department operating procedures to maximize efficiency and ensure ongoing improvement.

  • Maintain company standards, ensuring employees conduct aligns with company value.  Always ensuring Epiq upholds and maintains safe and adequate work environment.

Job Qualifications and Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience managing a production team with proven accomplishments.

  • Excellent project management skills, including ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of postal regulations and mailing standards.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the experience in presenting to executive leadership.

  • Strong Computer skills- Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite. #LI-RC1

The Compensation range for this role is 67,482.90 - 134,965.20 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
