The Specialties Plant Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing Leading the Specialties Plant Team
Promote a culture of safety by setting a strong example and ensuring all team members prioritize safe practices.
Lead through clear communication and high engagement, ensuring employees understand their responsibilities and contributions.
Motivate and develop a high-performing team while fostering accountability and interdepartmental collaboration.
Production Oversight & Process Improvement
Ensure production meets internal quality standards and work to eliminate inefficiencies.
Monitor and maintain equipment performance to keep operations running at peak efficiency.
Align with Maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations across shifts.
Analyze production records to identify areas for improvement and implement Lean/6S methodologies.
Driving Continuous Improvement
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) investigations for safety and quality incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Champion Lean Manufacturing and process optimization to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Contribute to the development of IMS documentation (procedures and work instructions).
Elevate team suggestions to improve operations and safety protocols.
What We're Looking For
Strong Leadership & Team Development Skills - proven ability to train, mentor, and lead teams effectively.
Process Optimization & Quality Control - familiarity with 6S, Lean practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Safety-First Mindset - thorough understanding of safety protocols and regulations in manufacturing.
Technical & Analytical Skills - Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), SAP, and Power BI proficiency.

Requirements Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
