The Role:
We're seeking a hands-on Director of Operations to own and optimize our operational backbone, freeing up our leadership to focus on sales and growth. You'll tighten processes, implement cutting-edge tools, and oversee critical functions to ensure we scale efficiently. This is a high-impact role reporting directly to one of our founding partners, with the chance to build a lasting legacy in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
What You'll Do:
Research and implement technology tools to streamline operations and boost productivity.
Oversee sales and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights.
Manage employee benefits, commercial insurance, and legal/compliance frameworks.
Supervise an outsourced back office (payroll, financials, taxes) and two entry-level staff (HR and bookkeeping).
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and support our aggressive growth goals.
Evaluate the competitive landscape, identify threats and emerging industry patterns.
Who You Are:
A proven operations leader with 7+ years of experience in a mid-sized company (tech, services, or contractor-heavy industries a plus).
Tech-savvy, with a track record of selecting and rolling out tools that deliver results.
Strong in financial reporting, compliance, and team management-no task is too big or too small.
A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
Prior staffing or consulting industry experience.
Based in (or willing to relocate to) Birmingham, Nashville, or Dallas.
