Frore Systems is looking for Head of US Sales to strengthen the WW Business development and Sales team.This position reports to the Head of Worldwide Business Development and Sales. Frore Systems, an innovative top tier VC backed startup in Silicon Valley, CA, that has raised over $200M in funding and has developed a new disruptive solid-state active cooling solution, AirJet®, based on flexible micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS). AirJet® by Frore Systems is the world's first solid-state active cooling chip, delivering >2x improvement in performance of ultra-compact, silent, dustproof, water-resistant and vibration free devices. In a world where almost every device we own needs increasing power, heat is an enduring challenge. The problem is rapidly escalating as technology advances, AI accelerates, and users demand more speed and convenience in smaller and smaller devices which generate more and more heat.

AirJet® is now in mass production, shipping in volume and the first handful of customers using AirJet® thermal solution have already launched category creating unique new innovative devices. We are poised to scale up and we are seeking a highly accomplished head of Sales to lead and build the US Sales team.

The markets that benefit from Frore Systems solid-state active cooling chips are numerous, they range from the edge applications - Notebooks, Tablets, mini-PCs, gaming devices, action cameras, VR, AR, SSD accessories, Smartphones, LED lighting, Industrial edge gateways, Industrial PCs, Security cameras, Dashcams, etc. - to Hyperscaler and Automotive applications.

We are in the unique position of being first to market with an innovative solution to a large and rapidly growing industry challenge. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales leader with a strong technical background in Semiconductors, Consumer devices, IoT, Hyperscaler and Automotive. As Head of US Sales, you will be leading sales and business development activities in US, winning business opportunities, driving revenue growth, building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities of the Director, Head of US Sales:
  • Representing Frore Systems to sell its products in US, expand the market presence.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and acquiring new customers and new projects from existing customers.
  • Building strong relationships with key customers and understand customers in terms of organization and decision-making process.
  • Leading Design-in activities in close partnership with the Customer Engineering and securing Design-win for commercial project engagement.
  • Recruiting and building an elite US Sales team over time, keeping pace with revenue growth.
  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue & gross margin targets.
  • Setting sales targets, forecasting sales volumes and collaborating with the operations team to support on-time delivery and inventory management.
  • Monitoring market trends and providing competitive analysis on a regular basis.

Education:
  • BS in business, engineering or finance (or related field).

Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales and Business Development at a high-tech h/w component.
  • Proven experience and track record of success in Sales to major companies US Tech H/W Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Meta, Dell, HP, Cisco, Juniper, Netgear, Ubiquiti, etc.
  • Track record of winning 100s of millions of Dollars of annual sales revenue.
  • In-depth understanding of edge applications - Notebook, mini-PCs, Smartphone, Tablet, SSDaccessories, Wi-Fi Access Point, Digital camera, handheld gaming, Industrial PC, Industrial Edge gateway, action cameras, VR, AR, LED lighting, Security cameras, Dashcams, etc. - as well as Hyperscaler and Automotive applications.
  • Ability to develop key insights, articulate the story in a compelling manner and communicate to drive decisions based on understanding of customers.
  • Knowledge of thermal engineering is a plus.

  • Having the energy to operate effectively as a team-of-one initially and build a high performing sales organization over time keeping pace with Company growth.
  • Ability to develop and manage strong customer relationships from engineering to executive level.
  • Experience and understanding of sales & procurement process - terms & conditions, price negotiation, logistics and delivery, payment terms, NRE, and Purchase agreement etc.
  • People management and team building experience and skills - build, scale, and lead high-performing sales team in the US.
