Role Description

Store Manager - Branch Leader

Overview

Works with the Sales Representatives and Customer Services

Representatives in fulfilling orders and providing customer service.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist the location sales representative(s) with sales and customer service duties.

Promptly answer and fulfill orders for walk-in (over-the-counter) customers.

Assemble hydraulic hose assemblies to over the counter customer specifications

Promptly answer and respond to incoming phone calls from customers and vendors.

Seek to understand customer relationships in order to recognize, and take grow local opportunities for new business.

Effectively process orders and quotes.

Conscientiously update and organize customer files and contracts.

Work with location sales representative(s) to efficiently manage delivery times.

Maintain customer accounts and efficiently process customer and vender returns and credits.

Support continuous improvement and quality objectives.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in Business-to-Business customer service.
• Good decision-making abilities.
• Excellent computer skills required.
• Ability to effectively communicate to top management and other employees of the
• organization.
• Solid judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent customer communication.
• Sense of urgency in fast paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Interacting with employees, suppliers, or customers to meet position and business

requirements.
• Requires ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
• A majority of the time is spent working in an office environment.
• Ability to apply general pricing and math knowledge.
• Using a keyboard to enter, retrieve or transform words or data.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in the industrial distribution or hydraulic systems industry is a plus.
  • Great attendance record and strong work ethic.
