Duties: Establish and manage the CNET translational research program at Penn. Duties will include (i) responsibility for all regulatory aspects (such as IRB, application and compliance), (ii) recruitment and retention of research subjects; (iii) conduct of study visits (including administering questionnaires, clinical and other research assessments; (iv) stewardship of biological sample procurement, handling, processing, storage and distribution; (v) functioning as translational program leader and liaison between clinical interface and lab interface, (vi) coordinating across program partners and collaborators; (vi) training and supervising other personnel as program grows.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience (preferably in the three areas of patient-oriented research, biosample procurement, and sample handling/processing and biobanking) or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Masters degree obtained, or in process, in a biomedical/health sciences, psychology, or public health/epidemiology field is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Excel and general workings of generic clinical research databases, with Redcap knowledge preferred.
