In this job, you'll be part of the Asset Management Strategy department and will be responsible for developing and initiating a set complex but actionable Distribution Asset strategies, M&I strategies for Distribution, Transmission and/or Vegetation Management strategies. This position will help to advance Distribution infrastructure replacement plans and Maintenance and Inspection activities to ensure better performance and reduce risk for Client. This group works collaboratively across many Client organizations to gain an understanding of the challenges in meeting various company goals and assessing how different solutions can help address company objectives. As a Senior Advisor your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions, and create cleaner air for everyone.

A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright! • Lead the strategic development of Distribution asset management plans that influence infrastructure replacement for electric field assets • Lead the development of risk informed inspection strategies along with scope development for electrical field assets • Develop & refine wildfire vegetation inspection and mitigation scope and strategies. • Present to senior leadership (e.g. operational/corporate governing bodies) and acts as a key advisor to the senior & executive leadership team. • Ten years of experience supporting or leading significant cross-functional business projects or strategic plans. • Strong project or program management skills and ability to effectively lead multiple priorities. • Experience leading process improvement initiatives. • Strong analytical skills.
Master's degree in applicable profession, business, or technical discipline. • PMP certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher • High level of demonstrated expertise in organization and follow-through. • Experience in applying a structured problem-solving approach to improve company performance or deliver strategic value. • Experience writing and communicating both complex material and high-level summaries for varied audiences. • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships at all levels of the company.
Description:
Participation and occasional leading of the development and implementation of strategic and tactical approaches for the Company's overall Labor Relations Strategic Plan to include bargaining strategies ? Gathering intelligence throughout the external labor relations environment in California and Washington DC, in order to present and discuss opportunities and obstacles which may be present ? Works to identify potential/actual problem areas in the Company's labor relations practices
Recommends the resolution of various contractual issues with the unions
Manages various projects related to labor agreements
Directs research on collective bargaining agreements involving other companies
Partners with internal organizations as appropriate to develop and implement strategies and tactics to resolve issues between the Company and Unions Education Requirements: Juris Doctor degree preferred Experience Required: The candidate will possess five to seven years of experience in labor and employee relations and will have acted as chief negotiator in collective bargaining.
