We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to support manufacturing operations by improving quality processes, conducting statistical analysis, and training plant personnel. This role ensures that production meets high-quality standards by applying problem-solving techniques and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Support for Management
Analyze plant manufacturing performance and provide insights to management
Conduct statistical evaluations of equipment for process capability
Provide data analysis to guide equipment maintenance and repair scheduling
Support customer/supplier audits with process performance data
Manage Statistical Process Control (SPC) training for employees
Technical Support for Plant Personnel
Train employees in SPC principles and statistical problem-solving techniques
Coach personnel on the plant floor in SPC application
Conduct gauge repeatability & reproducibility (R&R) studies and training
Assist in establishing and monitoring gauge maintenance programs
Provide training in statistical software use
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Support corporate quality engineers with quality network systems
Lead team meetings and process certification efforts
Assume QA Manager duties when necessary
Project Management & Process Improvement
Lead Six Sigma and Lean Process Improvement teams
Participate in plant quality teams and management meetings
Support SPC implementation and certification efforts
Oversee gauge maintenance and process documentation
Conduct plant and process performance audits
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of quality or engineering experience, including at least 2 years in manufacturing
Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical analysis
Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Minitab)
Knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, and process capability analysis
Experience in gauge capability analysis and technical writing
Project management and process improvement experience
Availability for shift flexibility as needed
Preferred Requirements
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
Six Sigma Green Belt certification
