Our client is seeking an Employment Litigation Associate with 2-4 years of experience to join their Portland office. This role offers a unique opportunity for an attorney looking to develop their litigation practice under the guidance of highly skilled mentors while working in a collaborative hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage litigation matters from inception to resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and mediations
Advise clients on employment law compliance, handbook development, and training programs
Provide day-to-day counsel on employment-related legal challenges across various industries
Utilize cutting-edge legal technology to deliver innovative client solutions
Participate in client education programs and contribute to business development initiatives
Qualifications:
2-4 years of litigation experience, with a strong interest in employment law
Prior employment litigation experience is preferred but not required
Strong legal writing and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to collaboration, growth, and client service
Admission to the Oregon Bar is required
