The minimum salary is $20.855 per hour
This position is eligible for overtime (non-exempt), if applicable.
Pay Grade 515
This position is eligible for Hazardous Duty Supplemental Pay ($90/month, $0.52/hour) and CDL pay ($1.08/hour) upon hire.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this classification is to proficiently operate equipment and perform sewer line installation, maintenance and repair.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Two (2) years of experience installing, maintaining and repairing sewer lines and/or closely related utility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operates various pieces of equipment used in the maintenance and repair of sewer lines
Enters data into a database for tracking of completed orders and creation of reports
Uses tools such as shovels, wrenches, clamps, hammers, rigid machines, and pumps
Provides guidance and training to apprentices
Acts as work site leader as necessary
Cleans and services equipment
Continues to train on various equipment
Hauls debris from work site
Conducts snow removal
Performs related work as assigned
SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
All Certifications and licenses must be maintained as a condition of employment.
Valid Driver's License
Valid Kentucky Commercial Driver's License (CDL)-Class B and a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Examiner's Certificate -Must obtain Endorsement N-Tank Vehicles within the first six (6) months of employment
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
CDL holders are subject to FMCSA query prior to qualification

EXAMINATION
The applicant's training and experience will be evaluated based on the information provided by the filing deadline date on this job posting. Applicants that meet the minimum requirements of this posting, will be invited to take the performance (Driving) examination. After passing the examination, the applicant may be contacted for an interview.
