As a dynamic Scheduling & Materials Manager you will lead and optimize procurement and production planning processes, ensuring seamless material availability and efficient production flow. In this role, you will lead scheduling strategies that align with company objectives, customer requirements, and operational efficiency. You will manage a team responsible for procurement planning and production scheduling across multiple facilities, driving on-time delivery, minimizing downtime, and optimizing inventory levels.
As a key leader in supply chain operations, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and engineering, to ensure seamless execution of schedules, timely communication of material status, and continuous process improvements. Your expertise will be critical in balancing supply and demand, coordinating engineering changes, and maintaining optimal inventory to support manufacturing excellence.
Specific Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic production and procurement planning to meet business and customer demands.
Ensure on-time delivery of internal and external parts while minimizing downtime and optimizing material flow.
Lead a team of exempt and non-exempt employees responsible for procurement planning, production scheduling, and inventory management.
Monitor and adjust engine, subassembly, and machining schedules for maximum efficiency.
Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and quality teams to address material shortages, production constraints, and engineering changes.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, cost reduction, and overall plant output.
Oversee inventory reconciliation activities, including annual physical inventory management.
Champion the transition to returnable packaging solutions to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Requirement:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement Planning, or Operations within a manufacturing environment.
At least 3 years of supervisory experience, with a proven ability to lead and develop exempt-level teams.
Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, production scheduling, and supplier coordination.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive scheduling efficiency and supply chain optimization.

The Salary range for this position is $88,000 - $111,150.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
