The Team

We are in search of an experienced Project Manager with robust project management skills to oversee the successful execution of critical and complex business initiatives. The Project Manager will provide leadership and ensure transparency through all stages of the program/project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, and deployment. They will ensure that project scope, schedule, quality, and benefits are clearly defined and achieved. Additionally, the Project Manager will lead project teams effectively and communicate project progress to all stakeholders comprehensively. The ideal candidate will possess not only exceptional project management capabilities but also outstanding interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

How you will contribute


  • Plan and execute IT initiatives in collaboration with internal teams and cross-functional partners.

  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Utilize appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

  • Leverage subject matter expertise to facilitate discussions and influence decisions and direction with business, technology, and functional partners.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors, coordinating internal resources and external partners for successful project execution.

  • Identify priorities and manage multiple workstreams, coordinating activities across departments to ensure deliverables are tracked and aligned with due dates.

  • Identify innovative and timely solutions to key challenges while motivating project teams to complete critical tasks.

  • Track project progress and effectively report status, blockers, and changes. Responsible for creating, maintaining, and communicating schedules, status, issues, and risks. Prepare materials and present at status meetings and steering committees as necessary.

  • Monitor resource allocations for projects and drive resource balancing among differing project priorities.

  • Manage, analyze, track, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and conduct regular review meetings.

  • Monitor and manage project financials including forecasts and project spend

Qualifications



  • Experience: 10-15 years of direct experience as an IT project manager.


  • Education: Requires a bachelor's degree in related area.

Required skills


  • Experience handling complex large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Ability to focus on execution and can organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.

  • Ability to build business relationships throughout the organization to foster respect and teamwork with internal and external partners.

  • Ability to act independently, demonstrate leadership, and take initiative but work equally well within a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

  • Ability to communicate at various levels of the organization

  • Ability to adapt within a changing environment and stay motivated to achieve targets and deliverables.

  • Ability to create reports, analyses, or scorecards for the management team and have strong verbal and written presentation skills.

  • Experience working with Project Management tools including Project and Portfolio Management tools or Microsoft Project

  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors

  • Experience with software implementations and software integrations

  • Experience working with IT application developers and support teams

Preferred skills


  • Experience with ERP, HCM, or ITSM applications

  • Experience working in a PMO and adaptable to PMO processes.

  • Possession of project management certification(s) e.g., PMP, CAPM.

  • Intellectually curious, proactive, and comfortable challenging the status quo with the ability to ask questions and make proposals to solve problems.

  • Attention to detail, the ability to handle high pressure environments, collaborates well, and has strong analytical abilities

  • Professional, positive, diligent, self-motivated, assertive, adaptable, and creative.

The salary range is $135,000 - $150,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
