Data collection and analysis in support of quality improvement, Corrective and/or Preventive Actions.
Prepare various charts and reports based on the collected Manufacturing and Quality data.
Read and interpret engineering drawings of simple or complex nature, including related specifications, standards, and process documents.
Review various Manufacturing and Quality documents and records.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of in-process inspection sheets, forms, and records.
Review in-process inspection.
Perform random quality checks of product and processes, including related tooling, fixturing, documents, and records.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of Quality Management System (QMS) documents.
Assist in investigation of Root Cause and perform follow up of Corrective and Preventive Actions.
Work safely and maintain a safe work environment. Comply with company’s safety policy and all safety rules.
Other duties as assigned by Quality Management.
Education
High School diploma or GED
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance.
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) ASME Y14.5M.
Ability to perform simple inspections, using various hand tools and equipment.
Familiarity with inspection hand tools, master gauges, and measuring equipment.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System certification is a plus.
Computer Skills – Proficient in utilizing MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook)
Mathematical Skills – Ability to perform calculations utilizing arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Communication Skills - Ability to communicate simple and complex subjects with clarity and precision, both in writing and orally. Read, write, and speak fluently.
Interpersonal Skills – Ability to work with company personnel, at all organizational levels, individually or as a team member.
Analytical Skills – Ability to understand and methodically analyze simple and complex issues.
Organizational Skills – Highly organized with ability to perform multiple tasks, while demonstrating attention to details to ensure accuracy.
The base hourly pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.20. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
