Senior Contract Accountant



Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Contract Accountant to analyze and manage contractual incentive programs for vendors and other key stakeholders. This role ensures the timely execution of contractual arrangements and communicates all vendor-related incentives to the Vendor Incentives team within our Controllership organization.



Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Merchandising team in contract execution and manage all short-term incentive agreements.


• Monitor and record changes to current contractual agreements, ensuring updates to incentive programs are accurately tracked and communicated to Legal and Controllership stakeholders.


• Collaborate closely with the Merchant Team to ensure all vendor contracts are current and reflect the latest negotiated incentive terms.


• Ensure all current vendor contracts are accessible to key stakeholders in Merchandising, Controllership, and Legal.


• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key vendors to facilitate timely collaboration on contractual agreements and incentive reimbursements.


• Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of contracts and the ability to understand and review financial terms.


• Exceptional attention to detail.


• Highly organized, capable of managing inputs from multiple sources and outputs to various stakeholders.


• Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across multiple functional areas, including Legal and Controllership.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Understanding of US GAAP and other accounting principles is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business or training as a legal secretary or assistant.


• 3+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing, and recording incentives from key stakeholders, preferably vendors.


• Strong experience in dealing directly with vendors and/or procurement is highly desirable.
