Location: Boynton Beach, FL

Salary: $70,000.00 USD Annually - $75,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Transportation Supervisor for their facility located in South Florida.

This is in a fast-paced Direct Store Distribution (DSD) environment, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring seamless delivery operations and customer satisfaction.




Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily transportation operations, including route planning, driver scheduling, and on-time delivery to direct store locations.
  
  


• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of drivers and transportation staff to meet performance and safety standards.
  
  


• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  
  


• Coordinate with warehouse, distribution, and store teams to optimize delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
  
  


• Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.
  
  


• Collaborate with leadership to develop cost-saving strategies and process improvements for transportation operations.
  
  


• Prepare and present reports on transportation performance, costs, and challenges.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally in a DSD or similar environment.
  
  


• Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in coaching and developing employees.
  
  


• Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  
  


• Proficiency in transportation management software (TMS) and other relevant tools.
  
  


• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety compliance.
  
  


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
  


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
