Location: Tewksbury, MA

Salary: $88,000.00 USD Annually - $95,000.00 USD Annually

Description:

Well established and reputable manufacturing company seeking an experienced Senior Accountant.



The role involves verifying financial records, reconciling accounts and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and producing monthly financial reports with accuracy and timeliness.



Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial reports and transactions.
  
  


• Prepare and post journal entries.
  
  


• Review and adjust monthly financial statements as needed.
  
  


• Assist with monthly reporting and annual budgeting.
  
  


• Investigate account variances and resolve financial questions.
  
  


• Compile reports for month-end close and year-end audits.
  
  


• Reconcile balance sheets and statements, resolve check issues.
  
  


• File tax returns (sales tax, highway use tax).
  
  


• Perform other assigned tasks, adapting to evolving business needs.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  
  


• 4-5 years of experience in general accounting.
  
  


• Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills.
  
  


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
