Role
The Manager of Business Analytics and Reporting will lead a dynamic team of Data Analysts focused on synthesizing and making data accessible through cutting-edge reporting tools and interactive dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, GIS data, and data visualization platforms like Power BI, as well as some experience with Python or similar coding languages for advanced data analysis. This role is integral to driving actionable business insights, enhancing operational efficiencies, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Data Analysts, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and impactful reports and dashboards.
Guide the team through projects from inception to completion, providing technical and strategic support.
Produce, analyze, and present data for annual, quarterly, and weekly reporting needs.
Develop and maintain SQL queries that enable live data links to dashboards and reports, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Oversee the synthesis of SQL and GIS data into accessible formats via Power BI and other UI tools.
Work cross-functionally with business partners, IT, and other stakeholders to aggregate data, develop key metrics, and support organization-wide initiatives.
Train and coach team members and other departments on the use and interpretation of analytics, fostering a data-driven culture across the organization.
Drive adherence to best practices in data governance, ensuring data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
Champion forward-looking data visualization techniques to make complex data simple and actionable.
Document workflows, derived metrics, and the usage of dashboards and reports to ensure transparency and consistency.
Stay abreast of the latest trends in analytics and data visualization, continuously improving the team’s capabilities and tools.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Experience/Minimum Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years or more of experience in reporting and analysis, with a strong emphasis on SQL, data visualization, and GIS systems.
Project management experience is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, and other data visualization tools is required.
Knowledge of GIS systems is preferred.
Experience with Python or similar coding languages for data analysis is a plus.

Title(s) of Direct Reports: Senior Data Analyst, Business Development Analyst
Working Conditions: Works in a normal office setting with no exposure to adverse environmental conditions. This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. On Mondays and Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home. There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.

Compensation
The pay range offered for this position is $113,600 - 156,200 annually. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
