As a Cleaner Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping assigned areas clean and safe, using established procedures to meet both company and client standards. Your role will include interacting with clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Conduct Inspections: Monitor and inspect your assigned work area both during and after your cleaning duties to ensure that everything meets site-specific procedures, the scope of work, and Servicon’s high standards. Your keen eye for detail will guarantee quality and compliance.
Engage in Training: Participate in training programs covering essential topics such as safety regulations, efficient and cost-effective cleaning methods, and equipment preventive maintenance. Continuous learning will empower you to perform your best.
Maintain Waste Receptacles: Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles while efficiently removing waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas. Your efforts will contribute to a clean and organized environment.
Vacuum with Care: Thoroughly vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas in offices, lobbies, and corridors to ensure they remain pristine and inviting.
Dust and Wipe Surfaces: Hand dust and wipe down all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and other horizontal surfaces, bringing a shine to every corner of the office.
Remove Marks and Smudges: Eliminate finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, and glass partitions, helping to maintain a polished and professional appearance.
Clean Up Spills: Promptly damp-mop or clean any spills in the office, stairwells, and public areas to ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the facility.
Organize the Janitor’s Closet: Keep the janitor’s closet clean, neat, and orderly, demonstrating your commitment to professionalism and efficiency.
Sweep and Dust Mop: Regularly sweep or dust mop hard floor surfaces, maintaining a tidy environment for everyone.
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and collaboration.
Effective Communication: Proficient in verbal and written communication; Spanish skills are a plus!
Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to tackle challenges with effective solutions.
Time Management: Excellent time management skills for efficient task completion.
Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Experience: Preferred 2 years of custodial cleaning experience or equivalent.
