An Account Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and fostering strong relationships with both new and existing clients. They will gather information from clients and partners, craft targeted strategies, and make recommendations that align with both internal and external factors. They will work closely with marketing, sales, and leadership teams to ensure client satisfaction and support long-term strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyze information from clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to craft solutions that meet client needs.
Develop and implement strategic plans that address client objectives and drive revenue growth.
Maintain ongoing communication with clients, ensuring consistent service delivery and relationship management at all stages.
Manage existing accounts and proactively identify opportunities to establish new accounts.
External Facing:
Manage and process RFQ's per customer and divisional requirements while ensuring the following:
Obtain and verify minimum customer requirements: drawings, specifications, Estimated Annual Usage (EAU), Start of Production (SOP), End of Production (EOP), and application or vehicle program information.
Sales Opportunity Tracker (SOT) is updated with relevant information and RFQ is forwarded to appropriate division
Quotations submitted on time in customer required format and method
Questions, Delays, Exceptions, Deviations, Requests for more information, etc. are quickly and clearly communicated to the customer
Manage customer updates, requirements, and requests regarding engineering changes, production planning, surveys, capacity studies, certification renewals, compliance requests, etc.
Ensure customer portals and key contacts have correct contact information for sales and divisions.
Internal Facing:
Drive organization to complete necessary work and respond to customer requests by due dates.
Review initial contracts for pricing accuracy and forward them to the division for acceptance.
Address delivery issues that escalate beyond normal procedures.
Serve as a communication buffer between divisions and customers to resolve escalated issues.
Provide insightful recommendations that consider market trends and company goals. Delivering accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management to assist with strategic planning

Qualifications
Required:
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree
4 to 6 years of proven experience in account management, sales, or a related customer-facing role within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
