About the Position

We are seeking skilled Document Control Specialists to join our team and play a crucial role in managing the lifecycle of critical project documents for large-scale public works infrastructure programs. This is a long term, full-time, onsite position located in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Provide document control for various transit and highway projects.
• Attend weekly progress and coordination meetings.
• Download/upload project information into Contract Manager.
• Maintain field office project files (paper and electronic) and scan paper documents as required.
• Prepare basic correspondence and spreadsheets as required.
• Perform routine office tasks scan, copy, fax, file, organize, order supplies, mail, e-mail, etc.
• Manage and maintain quality project records including project logs, submittals, RFIs, daily reports, material certifications, certified payrolls inspection reports, meeting minutes, letters and general project correspondence.
• Provide support for project miscellaneous document routing and assist with various administrative duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Document Control Specialist.
• Understanding of security protocols and the management of sensitive/confidential information. 
• Understanding of project close out.
• Proficiency with industry standard document control software (e.g, E-Builder, Aconex, Procore, LiveLink or SharePoint, etc.) 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large infrastructure programs ($500M+)
• Highway/Transit project experience.

Compensation Details

The salary range listed for this role is $83k-$100k/yr ($40-$48/hr). The final salary offered is based on multiple factors and is thoughtfully aligned with each candidates level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, etc.
