We are seeking an analytically skilled intern who can assist our engineers in documentation and testing of our analytical instruments. The individual will work in a dynamic team environment interacting with software, firmware, electrical, manufacturing and service engineers.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting in documenting the BOM, standard parts and work assembly instructions for designs to be transferred to manufacturing
Building of prototype systems and documenting work instructions
Follow test protocols, plans and document/summarize results for investigative testing.
Work with computers including installation, setup, configuration and basic troubleshooting.
Support extended team with assembly of prototype fixtures and assemblies
Document current inventory of instruments in RD and assist in deposition
Work with and follow proper safety measures while using hazardous chemicals.
Organize and categorize lab equipment and new space for SQA lab
Job Requirements:
Enrolled in a university for the 2025 school year concentrating in Engineering
Self-motivated
Must be fluid in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment with potentially changing priorities and deadlines
Compensation:
The annualcompensation range for this internship is $15 - $20/hr. The final hourly rate offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
