Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules to meet manufacturing deadlines.
Monitor work orders and production progress, identifying potential delays and assisting in resolution.
Work and manage inventory along with procurement teams to ensure materials and components are available when needed.
Expedite priority orders and coordinate workflow adjustments with production supervisors.
Use ERP/MRP systems to track production data and update schedules accordingly.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production planning and reduce bottlenecks.
Communicate with shop floor personnel, suppliers, and logistics teams to address scheduling or material flow issues.
Generate reports on production performance, material usage, and lead times.
Accurately forecast the resources required for production goals
Identify and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce cost
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, experience in management, project leader or a related field (preferred but not required).
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and plan work
Individual must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues and individuals inside the company
Effective computer skills; Microsoft office and other company software requirements
Other Requirements:
Ability to work in an office and/or manufacturing floor environment, depending on the industry.
May require frequent interaction with production teams and suppliers and occasional travel to supplier or vendor locations.
Ability to travel as required for project oversight and collaboration with remote teams.
Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 25 lbs., including but not limited to walking, standing, stooping, bending.
