Vitalant is hiring experienced a Clinical Laboratory Manager to bring skilled technical support to our high complexity testing laboratory due to expansion with our hospital business partners. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a new division lab for biotherapies!

• Provide comprehensive oversight for testing procedures, ensuring compliance with industry practices, regulations, and contractual agreements, including quality control testing.


• Collaborate, inclusive management style.


• Assists with the ongoing technical and professional development of team.


• Assists with management of the design, evaluation, implementation, and ongoing improvement of new testing methods, clinical evaluations and research projects, to increase efficiency.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required.

Must satisfy CLIA requirements for High Complexity Testing.

Certified Advanced Biotherapies Professional (CABP) preferred.

Five years of clinical lab experience required, to include:

• Three years supervisory experience preferred.


• Previous experience in molecular techniquest, immunohematology techniques, automated testing and computerization preferred.
