Senior Embedded Software Engineer




Bloomington, MN




Contract Position




$60.93-$65.93/Hour



Senior Advanced Software Engineer job in Bloomington, Minnesota is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Aerospace and Defense company. As a software engineer for Land & Air Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and testing embedded systems, products, and services that make a real difference in keeping our heroes and nation safe.



Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test embedded systems and products that enhance mission-critical capabilities for defense and aerospace applications.


• Contribute to the full software development life cycle, including system integration and validation.


• Apply industry standards and technical methodologies to solve complex software challenges.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and test engineers.


• Support continuous improvement efforts for embedded software tools, architecture, and integration processes.

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen with active U.S. Department of Defense Secret security clearance


• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or STEM and 8+ years of experience, or Master's and 6+ years of experience.


• Strongly skilled in C, C++, and Python


• Solid background on embedded software development, Linux, RTOS, and HW/SW integration


• Familiarity with DO-178 compliant software engineering life-cycle experience


• Agile experience preferred.
