The Manufacturing Engineer will play a pivotal role in optimizing facility operations, enhancing manufacturing processes, and driving efficiency improvements. This position focuses on ensuring cost control, safety, and quality while leading Lean initiatives and managing capital projects to support the company's growth and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize facility operations, including buildings, utilities, equipment, and alarm systems, to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
Plan and oversee the capital budget, including the preparation, justification, and implementation of capital projects for new equipment and machinery.
Evaluate manufacturing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Work closely with plant supervision to enhance workstation productivity and streamline manufacturing workflows.
Lead Lean manufacturing initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience managing and completing engineering projects in a manufacturing setting.
Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems, automated manufacturing processes, PLCs, or similar technologies.
Solid understanding of manufacturing equipment, electrical/hydraulic systems, Lean principles, and process optimization techniques.
Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
