Responsibilities: • Oversee day-to-day inventory control activities related to receiving goods, inventory of goods, and meeting the delivery schedule. • Assign tasks to inventory associates and ensure adherence to delivery schedules. • Adjust inventory in ERP system to manage stock levels. • Conducts cycle counts, physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences. • Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages. • Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate under or over inventory stock. • Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency, and personnel issues to upper management. • Provide guidance and support to the inventory control team, promoting a positive work environment. • Prepare and analyze inventory control reports, identify trends, and implement process improvements. • Hire, train, and onboard new associates. • Lead and motivate a team of inventory associates, fostering a culture of teamwork and • collaboration. • Train new employees on safety procedures and inventory processes. • Conduct performance evaluations, provide monthly and timely feedback, and address any performance issues through coaching and/or progressive discipline. • Identify training needs and facilitate skill development programs for the inventory control team. • Support cross-training initiatives to ensure flexibility and continuity in operations. • Collaborate with the production planning team to develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans. • Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, maintenance, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations. • Communicate inventory status, challenges, and progress to relevant stakeholders.
