Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Strategic Expansion
Develop and execute a global business development strategy that enhances OBMI's presence in the luxury hospitality and residential markets.
Identify and pursue strategic opportunities with hotel brands, private investors, developers, and tourism authorities.
Collaborate closely with OBMI's leadership to align business development efforts with the firm's overarching growth objectives.
Lead market expansion initiatives across North America, the Caribbean, Europe, and MENA, ensuring OBMI is positioned as the preferred design partner for high-profile projects.
Client Engagement & Industry Influence
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with decision-makers in luxury hospitality, real estate development, and government entities.
Serve as a brand ambassador for OBMI at industry events, investor summits, and high-level networking forums.
Build trust-based, long-term relationships with clients, positioning OBMI as their strategic design partner.
Lead client engagement efforts, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional service, and repeat business.
Market Intelligence & Competitive Positioning
Conduct in-depth market research to anticipate trends, identify emerging destinations, and refine OBMI's competitive strategy.
Work closely with the marketing and communications team to craft compelling narratives, thought leadership content, and high-impact presentations that reflect OBMI's design expertise.
Provide strategic insights to leadership on market dynamics, competitive positioning, and new business opportunities.
Proposal Development & Deal Structuring
Oversee the preparation of RFPs, proposals, and business agreements, ensuring alignment with client expectations and OBMI's commercial strategy.
Lead negotiations to secure projects that reflect OBMI's design vision and long-term business goals.
Collaborate with design and operational teams to structure proposals that highlight OBMI's ability to deliver transformative, story-driven projects.
Qualifications & Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Business, Architecture, Real Estate, Hospitality, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 10+ years of experience in business development, preferably within architecture, design, hospitality, or luxury real estate.
A proven global network spanning North America, the Caribbean (and either Europe or MENA), with a track record of securing high-value projects.
Deep understanding of the luxury hospitality and residential sectors, including market dynamics, hotel brands, and development trends.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage C-suite executives and high-net-worth clients.
A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of driving revenue and forging impactful partnerships.
Willingness to travel internationally to represent OBMI in key markets and engage with prospective clients.
