Untitled Temporary Part-Time Housing InspectorThe Housing Authority of Plainfield is now
accepting applications for a temporary,
part-time Housing Inspector position.
Qualifications:
Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English proficiently to
perform job duties.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct inspections of residential buildings to identify health and safety violations.
Perform follow-up inspections to verify that necessary repairs comply with regulations.
Assess dwellings that present complex or unique inspection challenges.
Experience Required:
A minimum of one (1) year of experience in building inspection, construction, maintenance, repair, or a related field involving structural
assessments.
License Requirement:
A valid New Jersey driver's license may be
required if operating a vehicle is necessary for job performance.
