Our Water Environment Market has an opening for a senior-level Engineer with a background in working on projects related to water, wastewater, stormwater/conveyance, and treatment projects. Responsibilities:
Provide engineering and design expertise for projects relating to water, wastewater, stormwater/conveyance. and treatment projects.
Independently performs all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and Identifies discrepancies in results.
Understand project goals and clearly communicate them to project teams to ensure client expectations are consistently achieved.
Provide leadership and direction for the execution of water and wastewater-related projects including process/mechanical, treatment, chemical feed systems, and pumping systems.
Oversee the production of plans and specifications for design projects for municipal water treatment and water reclamation facilities.
Provide market-wide senior-level technical expertise through our Technical Leadership Program for water and wastewater aspects particularly related to pump/lift stations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or other related field is required.
Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure is required.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience working in water, wastewater, stormwater/conveyance, and treatment projects in a consultant capacity is required. Large pump station or lift station experience is a plus.
Experience working with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and water/sewer modeling software.
Proficient working experience with MS Office Suite, MS Project, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, Deltek Vantagepoint, and Power BI software.
Strong understanding/working knowledge of environmental regulations, local and state design codes and standards is required.
