Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Credit Risk Officer to create and maintain critical Blaze strategies for Deposit Risk transaction risk strategies under the Consumer, Small and Business Banking, Chief Risk Officer Group.
The Deposit Risk team manages real-time transactions that decision check deposits, check cashing and other transactions. These strategies are ever evolving and require weekly changes and occasional refactoring.
In addition to maintaining the various Blaze projects the role is expected to provide credible challenge to the analytics team based on both expert knowledge of the object model and data but also the business purpose.
In this role, you will:
Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation and coordination of highly complex activities
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal and external customers, including various vendors
Collaborate with business for oversight of risk management
Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics
Maintain existing suite of Blaze projects, including updates to schemas and upgrading Blaze versions
Refactor existing rule base as needed to improve efficiency and possibly leverage new data sources
Partner with the analytics team to refine complex requirements before implementation and testing
Consult on current capabilities of Blaze and the transactional environment for partners in the line of business and also the technology group
Apply line of business and subject matter expertise to serve as a consultant and resource on key initiatives
Evaluate and size new data sources and features for potential integration into real time decisioning
Create / update / maintain very complex Business Object Model and it's related data
Create and/or maintain rule flows, decision tables, rule sets, functions in Blaze 7.8, or higher
Import object model jars and other model jar files using Eclipse IDE
Unit test code changes via Eclipse IDE
Utilize your knowledge of tasks done in Blaze IDE such as building the project, compiling the project, running the project and troubleshooting using debugging options
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
7+ years of experience developing complex FICO Blaze projects
4+ years of experience with SAS or SQL
Experience with FICO Blaze, Falcon RMAs and FICO Platform / Decision Modeler or equivalent products
Experience creating rule templates & ruleset templates using Blaze Advisor
Understanding of modern message technologies such as XML, JSON, YAML
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A Master's degree or higher in a related field such as Computer Science
Familiarity with complex data models and structures
Familiarity with Wells Fargo's application test environment
Knowledge and experience in demand deposit system applications
Excellent metadata documentation skills including experience with Atlassian Confluence
Experience using Atlassian Jira as a workflow tool
Self-starter in conjunction with being a team builder (role is fairly autonomous and will require an individual who is good at managing multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and meeting expectations without a tremendous amount of supervision while simultaneously working in a collaborative team setting)
