Intern, Information and Communication Systems - Summer 2025 at BMW of North America, LLC in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey

Job Description:

This is a full-time internship position for our Summer Rotation, from June 2, 2025 through August 22, 2025 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.

This Intern will support the US information & Communication team to create Test and Quality management solutions for I&C-systems and perform validation & testing. This will include projected mode systems, augmented reality video, entertainment-features, navigation and connectivity. They will work within a team in a highly complex environment, gaining a deep understanding of the information and communication systems in modern vehicles as well as how to properly test and document their maturity.

WHAT AWAITS YOU:

• Support local Test- & Problem Management with tracking progress during active test campaigns.


• Participate in test campaigns and in validation test drives and helping in setting up the HW/SW in preparation.


• Develop smart solutions to further improve efficiency in daily tasks for the team.


• Participate in testing activities for upcoming launches in the US market, learning about Quality Management and general test procedures and documentation.


• The intern will be part of the team, working to ensure high quality for all BMW products.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university


• Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)

• Have completed at least 60 college credits or be at least a rising Junior

• Field of study: Engineering or similar with concentration in electrical or automotive

• Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript

• Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)

• Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $29.90

The hourly rate for Graduate students is $36.80

The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
