Walmart's Facility Services team is growing its responsibility and footprint to achieve its vision of becoming the world's most reliable and sustainable facility services platform - supporting our customers, members, associates, and communities in which we operate.

About this role:

This role is responsible for the end-to-end strategic development and execution of Walmart's facility asset digital transformation. This leader will oversee the implementation of a facility-agnostic digital twin, predictive maintenance strategies, and seamless integration of connected systems. This role will lead a team of asset managers, program managers, and digital transformation specialists to:

  • Oversee the creation and implementation of digital twin technologies that integrate spatial, static, and performance data across the entire lifecycle of facility assets.

  • Define and deliver forward-facing digital strategies that ensure hardware-agnostic, connected systems capable of adapting to future business needs.

  • Manage the development of asset controls standards, specifications, guidelines, network architectures, and support SLAs to drive asset uptime and reliability.

  • Lead the onboarding and validation of networked facility assets, ensuring secure data flow and high-performance validation.

  • Oversee capital planning and execution of building management upgrades, transitioning from obsolete hardware to modern technologies.

  • Define condition-based monitoring rules and telemetry requirements to support predictive maintenance and AI-driven optimization.

  • Lead and execute large-scale capital and operational expense projects related to facility asset upgrades and digital transformation.

  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as Global Tech, Real Estate, Sustainability, Energy, and Procurement to maximize uptime and total cost of ownership for facility assets.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for managing a complex facility asset portfolio, ensuring reliable, efficient, and sustainable operations across Walmart's vast network of stores, clubs, and distribution centers.

You'll Wow Us If You:

  • Have 10+ years of experience in facility management, digital transformation, or asset management, with a focus on refrigeration, HVAC, lighting, and non-serialized assets.

  • Have a proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives, including the integration of IoT, AI, and predictive maintenance technologies to optimize facility operations.

  • Are experienced in developing and executing digital strategies that integrate hardware-agnostic, connected systems.

  • Have a deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, including condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance.

  • Have experience managing large internal teams and overseeing vendor/contractor networks across multiple regions.

  • Have expertise in driving large-scale technology upgrades, including managing capital and OPEX plans, particularly related to asset management and system modernization.

  • Are data-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of using analytics to drive decision-making and asset investment strategies.

  • Excel at leading cross-functional collaboration with IT, Sustainability, Procurement, and other business units to ensure digital strategies are aligned with broader organizational goals.

  • Have experience in managing complex, multi-site projects with a strong focus on execution, prioritization, and operational needs.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and are self-motivated to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
