Fulfillment Manager (Full-Time) at STULLER INC in Lafayette, Louisiana

Job Description:

Stuller's dedicated Logistics Operations team performs an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from automated and manual stock locations, and sorting and packing orders. Our Fulfillment Department operates at a fast pace, driven by a steadfast commitment to our customers. We empower our team members to progress within the department and throughout the organization, under the skilled leadership of the Fulfillment Manager and Director.
As a Fulfillment Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fulfillment department. You will be responsible for leading and developing a dedicated team, managing a significant portion of the department's inventory, and overseeing the nightly closing procedures to maintain security and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and manage a team of 12-14 employeesOversee daily operations of team and department, ensuring all tasks are completedRotating opening and closing shifts with management teamConduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.Perform end of day closing duties, including arming department
Basic Qualifications
High school Diploma or equivalentProven leadership skillsAbility to make fair consistent decisions and adapt to changeEffective communication skills (oral and written)Strong work ethic, self-motivated and self-directed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in distribution environmentsDemonstrated skills in prior Fulfillment or Receiving roles
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Lift 30-50 pounds Stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
