Job Title: Finance Manager - Consumer




Location: Miami




Job Description



The Finance Manager will provide financial analytical support to the Consumer Business Unit, overseeing all OPEX within the P&L. This role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders, including BU Marketing, Sales Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial Sales, Business Unit Leadership, and other internal and external teams. The Finance Manager will drive close partnership with the US FP&A team and will facilitate business decisions and develop Business strategies aimed at increasing profitability and optimizing resources through financial analysis and modeling.



Key Responsibilities



  • Supports OPEX management process with cross-functional teams. Assess return on investment for key initiatives.

  • Manages all marketing activities for Finance; provides key decision support through analytical modeling regarding business strategies and resource utilization; serves as a liaison between Finance and the Consumer Marketing team relating to P&L considerations and financial impact of business decisions. Work with external vendors on cost planning.

  • Monitor S2P for marketing expenditures, ensure purchase orders are open on time, goods receipts are performed and invoice paid following company 3-way match process, and in compliance with budgetary constraints.

  • Regularly review actual expenditures against the approved budget to ensure alignment with financial goals. Provide detailed reporting on budget performance and highlight any discrepancies or areas of concern.

  • Conduct thorough variance analysis by comparing budgeted vs. actual expenses. Identify and explain significant deviations, providing to help adjust strategies and improve financial forecasting.

  • Prepares and presents project analysis outcomes to a diverse group of internal stakeholders in order to help make business decisions and strategies; clearly justifies analytical outcomes (help break down complex modeling process, various inputs and outputs) to build management confidence with business decisions.

  • Manages yearly budget and monthly forecasting process for OPEX

  • Works closely with the Financial Planning Team to ensure business P&L forecasts are accurate and that risks and opportunities vs. budget and latest trends are properly quantified and identified during business reviews.

  • Oversees processes to perform analyses using large amounts of complex information from various internal and external sources.

  • Oversees special projects/studies of moderate to complex scope as directed; completes ad hoc analysis as needed related to various business drivers in support of the Consumer business.

  • Lead and drive process improvements and simplification initiatives within finance to enhance efficiency and reduce complexity.

  • Support ad-hoc Consumer Finance projects, including creating dashboards, harmonizing OPEX reporting, and enhancing analytics to improve decision-making and reporting consistency across the organization.

  • Other duties as assigned.




Skills & Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA, graduate degree or advanced certification preferred.



  • Minimum 5-8 years of related financial management experience within a corporate environment with proven track record of documented success; experience may include (but is not limited to) financial planning, forecasting, etc.

  • Related experience within the CPG industry strongly preferred.

  • Must have "hands-on" financial forecasting experience.

  • Must have experience in analyzing and interpreting large sets of data and drawing conclusions in order to make business recommendations to internal customers.

  • Must have leadership experience with budget planning, tracking and/or accountability.

  • Must be proficient with MS Office.

  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion Planning, and/or Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI preferred.

  • Must demonstrate strong communication skills and have a successful track record of effectively working with cross-functional teams.
