Job Description:



Client is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for an onsite contract-to-hire position in Wilmington, DE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS, Spark, PySpark, Python, and SQL.



Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS, Big Data, Spark, and SQL.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Shell Scripting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency in Spark, Python, and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M and Autosys.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace.
• Knowledge of Shell/Perl Scripting and/or Java.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain reliable and scalable systems using AWS, Spark, PySpark, Python, and SQL.
• Configure and optimize AWS platform environments for performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project goals and requirements.
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, Cloud Development, application resiliency, and security practices.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to support business needs.
• Act as a coach for at least one technical skill and contribute to team cultivation.
• May give speeches and write articles outside the firm to share expertise.
