The Role



Orora Packaging Solutions is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our team in our Sycamore, IL facility.


This position will report to the: Production Manager


Location: Sycamore, IL
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt



What You'll be Responsible For in this Role



In this role, you will be responsible for operating a powered forklift to move, stack or load materials throughout production, warehouse, storage and shipping/receiving area to the appropriate locations.

• Operates warehouse machines to stack and retrieve supplies and materials
• Documents and maintains inventory ensuring production area is organized and clean
• Follow all safety rules and regulations including Safe Operating Procedures and Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures
• Performs other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned
• Physical Agility (if pertinent)
• Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as requested.

What We're Looking For




Minimum Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• 0 to 2 years of related experience
• Current Forklift Certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to comprehend all written instructions, safety and training related documents
• Ability to add, subtract, divide, and multiply basic computation
