Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what's special about each local marketplace.

Keenan Supply is one of those trade names and is looking for a Purchasing Agent & Inventory Controller at their Silver City, NM location .

About the Role:

You will:


  • Supervise administrative employee activities ensuring smooth and efficient support of all profit center administrative duties.
  • Providetraining and guidance to teammates on administrative duties.
  • Act as an escalated point of contact for all administrative needs.
  • Analyze space planning needs and physical layout options to ensure continued maximum effective use of office space.


  • Provide overall supervision to all building maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Coordinate all purchasing efforts for office supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Prepare presentations, reports and correspondence for internal and external distribution.
  • Act as the authorized party for consolidated telecom accounts, including attending reviews, analysis meetings, and other activities as required. Facilitate relationship and activity between telecom account representatives and Profit Center Managers.
  • Process Service Center and consolidated invoices for payment in a timely manner, communicating with vendors, Profit Centers, and departments as needed.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and transfer all calls to the appropriate employees as necessary.


  • Investigate, resolve and respond to all customer, vendor, Credit Manager, and Support Center inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist co-workers in servicing customers including answering incoming calls, faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs as assigned.
  • Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.

About You:


  • 3+ years' experience in a customer service, accounts receivable, accounts payable or similar role
  • Knowledge of basic accounts receivable/payable bookkeeping practices and terms
  • Be able to drive a vehicle over 10,0001 lbs. As a non-CDL driver, you must:



    • Be at least 21 years old



    • Possess a proper and valid driver's license



    • Have a driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy



    • Be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before beginning work and again at least every two years while employed and performing this job function.

  • Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Be able to learn and operate the computer related systems used to process customer invoices, vendor invoices, and cash sale payments.
