UTHealth Houston's IT department is looking for someone who can be a "policy wrangler." At the core of this role is someone who will make sure IT policies and procedures are updated and clearly stated for UTHealth Houston. The Data & Policy Coordinator manages committees, communication among managers, policy and procedure websites, and databases to ensure timely and accurate review, update, and posting of policies and procedures. You will need to be a people person, and great language, writing, and communication skills will be key. You don't have to be an IT subject matter expert, but it will help if you know the general nomenclature used by professionals in information technology.
This role will be hybrid and consist of being on site most days. You may be allowed to work remotely a day or two a week, but this may be after a training period and will be determined by the business needs of the position. The position will be in our Operations Center Building, just south of NRG Stadium and 610.
What we do here changes the world. UTHealth Houston is Texas' resource for healthcare education, innovation, scientific discovery, and excellence in patient care. That's where you come in.
