The Cambria County Transit Authority (CamTran) is looking for a motivated and qualified leader to join our team as an Inclined Plane Operations and Store Manager. The Inclined Plane is a historic transportation landmark and attracts visitors near and far, in fact from all around the World. As the Inclined Plane Operations and Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Inclined Plane and the Inclined Plane Gift Shop, ensuring smooth operations, outstanding customer service, and high-quality products. You will play a key role in promoting the facility, enhancing community engagement, and driving profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and coordinate the operations of the Inclined Plane and associated retail locations.

Lead, motivate, and supervise staff to ensure a safe, efficient, and customer-focused work environment.

* Conduct rule compliance and fit-for-duty checks for Inclined Plane Operators and Conductors.

* Oversee all the safety and security measures as outlined in the Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP).

Promote the use and value of the Inclined Plane to the community.

Ensure high standards of service, quality products, and effective business operations.

Respond to night and weekend callouts in emergency situations

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in retail management and 3 years in a supervisory role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business-related software. Commitment to Safety: This is a safety-sensitive position subject to random drug and alcohol screenings as per FTA regulations and CamTran policy.

Training & Certification: Must complete training and certification as an Inclined Plane Operator and Conductor.

Compensation & Benefits:

* Annual Salary: $50,000 (exempt position)

Work Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility for night and weekend call-outs in the event of emergencies during operating hours
