The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the sales & marketing activities to customers specific to McKesson Brands private label products. The role will work directly with the Commercial Management team on activities related to optimizing revenue and customer support. The role will assist in sales lead generation activities and support the Commercial team in streamlining data sources with Demand Management, Programs, ClarusOne Global Sourcing and Supply Chain teams. This is a highly cross functional role that is critical to McKesson Generics ability to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
Assists the Commercial team to identify new business opportunities and secure existing business through exceptional customer support
Proactively manage outputs from Global Sourcing and Supply Chain documenting their noted opportunities on both new business volumes and risks to base sales
Manage analytics & reporting needs for team, pulling generalized information, updating shared reports and confirming accuracy of data
Responsible for aligning with Commercial Managers on bid related activities with customers across segments
Works collaboratively with Demand Management, Program teams, Global Sourcing teams, and Supply Chain on product and customer related updates
Consistently shares updates related to changes on account award status, price adjustments, product launches/exits, industry trends and sales processes and creating customer facing slide decks
Respond to ad hoc inquiries from customers on supplier manufacturing, labeling, or material updates etc.
Special projects, such as activities to help with new product launches, sales initiatives & inventory management
Minimum Requirement
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Critical Skills
4+ years of work experience in product or brand management support-like role, preferably within pharmaceutical or healthcare space
Strong organizational skills with the desire to seek improvements in processes.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects to ensure key deliverables are met in a timely manner.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Office
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills.
Self-motivated and eager to learn a variety of products and business functions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to drive initiatives through a matrixed organization
Ability to perform under deadline pressure
Proficient in standard software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Work collaboratively within the team and across other departments
Ability to research unfamiliar topics and write about them clearly for a variety of audiences

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
