@Orchard has been engaged to support a growing Federal Contractor with a need for a CMMC Assessor to lead a team to conduct the audit that evaluates organization security, provide expert cyber-security consulting for clients, as well as contribute to compliance research, technical analysis, and support the marketing team with cyber-security knowledge. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your cyber security expertise to an organization known for their Cyber and surveillance capabilities.

As the CMMC Assessor you will:

• The C3PAOs employ Assessors are responsible for conducting the assessments for the Organizations Seeking Certification
• Ensure organizations meets the higher standards of cyber-security required by the DoD
• Plan, implement, manage and monitor security measures for the protection of the company's data, systems and networks.

Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in cyber, computer science or information technical field or 2+ years of related experience (including military) in a cyber, information technology, or assessment field or education.
• Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools;
• Understanding of security and infrastructure best practices, including latest security principles, techniques and protocols;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Ability to quickly process and synthesize highly complex information;
• Demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure situations; and,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Security-specific certification(s) (Security+, CCA, CCP)
