EMUS is looking for a top talented Molding Manufacturing Supervisor to join EMUS's Toner Molding Operations in our Lawrenceville, GA campus! In this role as a Molding Manufacturing Supervisor, you will utilize your molding background to support our fast-paced environment and automated 24-hour molding operations. You will oversee the daily work activities of molding operators for all shifts, troubleshoot equipment, resolve production and quality problems, and maintain daily production records and progress reports.

The Molding Manufacturing Supervisor will:

  • Model the “safety first” behaviors we expect of all employees by ensuring that operational procedures and processes are performed safely and provide a safe work environment.
  • Plan daily operations and make routine adjustments to work assignments, production processes, and equipment to meet complex production schedules and targets while maintaining SEQCD standards.
  • Supervise hourly employees on all shifts, which includes giving daily work direction, training and coaching for development, conducting performance appraisals, monitoring attendance, and administering disciplinary action as needed.
  • Provide production support by troubleshooting production problems and/or product quality issues involving manufacturing processes.
  • Investigate and determine the root cause of failures and problems and recommend countermeasures or changes, collaborating with Maintenance, Engineering and QC
  • Participate in the testing and implementation of new products into production, including monitoring process and gathering data on results.
  • Analyze production data and identify trends, problems, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct tours of production area to provide management support for problem resolution and policy compliance, and ensure work instructions, company policies, quality and safety standards are followed.
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties which include developing procedures, presentations and reports, as well as reconciling inventory and promoting and guiding employees' participation in Kaizen, safety circle, and 5S activities.

Technical/other training or better in Manufacturing Technology or related field.

Experience

Required

Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience in manufacturing/production environment required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in molding manufacturing required.
Working knowledge of molding manufacturing operations processes and procedures required.
Good communication (verbal and written) skills, along with demonstrated positive leadership skills with experience in teambuilding/motivating practices to support company initiatives.
Able to recognize and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Possess high professional ethics, good judgment, and ability to take ownership and decisive action.
Must have good attention to detail and math skills to calculate yields, variances, material and labor costs.
Must have Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills at intermediate level, along with experience in writing procedures, and creating forms, visual aids, graphs, and presentations.
