UPS is seeking a motivated and curious UX Design Co-op to join our Digital Experience team. As a UX Co-op, you will work alongside experienced designers, product managers, researchers, and developers to craft intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital experiences that power the world's most trusted logistics network. This is a unique opportunity to apply design thinking principles to real-world enterprise challenges and contribute to user-centered solutions at scale.
Responsibilities:
Support UX designers in creating wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Research to ensure cohesive and consistent designs.
Participate in user research sessions, usability testing, and design workshops to understand user needs and pain points.
Assist in organizing and synthesizing research findings into actionable insights.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and UI libraries.
Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members.
Help document design decisions and maintain project files for cross-team collaboration.
Stay up to date with UX trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas and perspectives.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Psychology, Computer Science, or related field.
Basic proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
Understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and responsive design practices.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly, both visually and verbally.
Must be able to speak to previous UX/UI projects or personal work
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Experience with prototyping tools and/or usability testing is a plus.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a bonus but not required.
